ATERNO Green s.r.l. was founded in 2017 and is based in Italy, with its registered office located in L’Aquila, an electronics laboratory located in Bisegna (AQ), and an office and secondary laboratory in Rome’s Tecnopolo Tiburtino. ATERNO Green has “innovative start-up” status, and is currently mainly involved in R&D activities, both as a subcontractor to other companies, as well as for the development of their own line of products.

Some of the ATERNO Green projects realized:

  • A unique wind energy system based on supercapacitor storage was developed in the Bisegna laboratory, where it was tested in high-altitude mountain winds reaching hurricane speeds (> 120 km/h).

  • A sophisticated battery management system (BMS) was designed, manufactured and tested for the University of Salerno (Italy).

  • An uninterruptible power supply and automatic voltage stabilizer was designed for powering a sensor array system used for inspecting art in various Italian museums, some of them being the Vatican Museums.
